- Respond to aviation emergency
- Access to aviation incident is based on airport and aircraft knowledge and use of maps, plans and diagrams
- Equipment is selected and used to achieve aviation incident objectives, strategies and tactics
- Evacuate persons and attend to casualties
- Equipment is selected and located to facilitate evacuation and rescue
- Appropriate rescue techniques are used to release trapped persons
- Evacuees are moved and/or directed to a safe area, in accordance with organisational procedures
- Conduct aviation emergencyoperations
- Changing conditions are evaluated and any changes to tactics is communicated through the chain of command, in accordance with organisational procedures
- Operations are carried out, in accordance with organisational procedures
- Ongoing liaison is conducted with emergency services and relevant authorities, in accordance with organisational procedures
- Conclude aviation emergencyoperations
- Any damage to the aircraft, caused by forcible entry is recorded and reported, in accordance with organisational procedures
- At conclusion of aviation incident responsibility for the site is transferred to relevant authority
